Shivaji Gaanguly's academy mind and body was founded by Hanshi Shivaji Ganguly who is currently 9th dan Black in Kyokushin karate (Full Contact Karate) and also the direct Disciple of Sosai Mas oyama who is the founder of Kyokushin karate. Sensei Shibayan Ganguly,4th dan Black belt is the admistrative head of the academy and sensei Shyamantak Ganguly,3rd dan Black belt is the technical director of the academy. With 10 centres both indoor and outdoor and trained almost 50,000+ students.
Kyokushin Karate is not just a style but a way of life which purifies Human mind. This will help the world at large to maintain Universal Brotherhood . They both were motivated seeing their father Hanshi Shivaji Ganguly who founded the academy. And slowly from 2 centres they have started 8 more centres and they are associated with 4 best schools of kolkata. And have affiliated centres in 12 states.
The unique about thier business is to teach authentic Kyokushin karate (full contact karate). They not teach only self defense but concentrate with full wellness of their client including fitness training and diet consultation. The academy is of 40 years old. His role model was is their father Hanshi Shivaji Ganguly who single handedly started everything.
They never compromised with anything for the betterment of Karate even by sacrificing a lot in his life. In the beginning of his career he was in banking services which he finally left and decided to concentrate even more for the development and promotion of this noble art. Shivaji Ganguly's Academy Mind & body. It was primarily an academy for
Kyokushin Karate but now many other forms of Martial Arts are getting introduced.
Their academy got associated with South point high school one best schools in Asia as well as India. They also collaborated with Da one academy an initiative by Shikhar Dhawan.
