Meet Anindgita Dasgupta: a Mumbai-based filmmaker Anindgita Dasgupta (a.k.a Anindita Dasgupta) is making waves with her bilingual (Hindi–Bengali) web series "Kuch Kuch Film Jaisi", produced under M/s Aam Public Entertainment.
A multi-talented force writing ,Directing and serving as Cinematographer-she uses cinema to craft socially conscious yet entertaining narratives.
In her interview with M.S.Venture, Anindgita says about her journey, “ I come from a humble, middle-class family—my father, Paritosh Banerjee, was a Sanskrit professor whom I lost at a very young age, and my mother, Amita Banerjee, worked tirelessly to provide me with a healthy upbringing. My grandfather, Dashurathi Mukherjee—a freedom fighter during India’s British era—inspired me to be value-centric and taught me early on that excellence stems from sincerity and perseverance. While pursuing my master’s degree, I got married to my husband, Mr. Prasenjit Dasgupta, who recognized my passion for filmmaking and generously supported and funded my cinematic education, setting me on this creative journey. “
On the matter of professional challenges and how the same was overcome Anindgita says, “Throughout my career, I’ve encountered some individuals rife with insecurity, jealousy, selfishness, and manipulation—people who, despite close proximity and initial warmth, betrayed me, even labelling me “Didi” while working behind the scenes to sabotage me, like crabs in a basket trying to pull me down. I addressed this toxicity by decisively removing myself from such environments and choosing to collaborate only with positive, like-minded professionals”. 
Anindgita mentions that her proudest professional achievements is creating the web series ‘Kuch Kuch Film Jaisi’, which went on to receive 143 awards, official selections, and nominations across National , international film festivals in Hollywood, India, Brazil, Italy, Singapore, Germany, and more—"an honour that feels like divine blessing and allows me to both entertain and inspire positivity globally. I stay driven by my deep-rooted values and faith in a higher force—invoking the mantra “May the Force be with you”—so much so that my “strategy” is simply living true to those convictions.” 
On the matter of professional and personal life balance , Anindgita admits that balancing work and family aren’t always easy—"I give 100% to my professional life, and while I may not always have much time for the personal life , my loved ones understand this and support me, which keeps my personal life happy”  
In response to what is Anindgita Dasgupta’s massage to newcomers she says , “Choose your collaborators carefully—filmmaking is a teamwork , and one toxic person can derail an entire project; success comes from(other than talent and hardwork ) focus, mutual respect, and gratitude . It is possible if you choose your association carefully.”
On the matter of her upcoming projects, she says “I’m excited about several upcoming ventures—web series, talk shows, and feature films—which will be revealed soon by my team ”.
 About the driving forces behind her work ethos Dasgupta says , “ My decisions are guided by morality, ethics, humanity, social responsibility, and professionalism.”
About her inspiration Anindgita Dasgupta says –“ I draw inspiration from my husband, Mr. Prasenjit Dasgupta, Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, and my unwavering faith in God Almighty.”
