During the early years of her journey, she worked independently with remarkable determination, organizing awareness drives, counseling workshops, therapy sessions, and community outreach programs across old-age homes, orphanages, rural villages, slum communities, and government schools. Reaching out to people who had little or no understanding of mental health was not easy. Social stigma, lack of awareness, and hesitation around seeking emotional support posed significant challenges. Yet, Dr. Mehjabeen remained steadfast in her purpose, believing that every individual deserves to be heard, understood, and emotionally supported.
