Nahida Mohamed

Meet Nahida Mohamed: The Inspiring Journey From Survival to Stardom.
Nahida Mohamed is a remarkable example of resilience, courage, and self-belief. Her journey from battling a life-threatening medical condition to becoming a celebrated beauty queen, motivational figure, and working professional reflects the strength of a woman who refused to give up, even in her darkest moments.
Academically accomplished, Nahida holds an M.Com with UGC NET from St. Thomas College and an MBA in Financial Management from University of Madras. Before marriage, she worked as an MIS Analyst at KPMG and Infopark Kochi, and later served as a Commerce Lecturer at St. Aloysius College. She currently works in the Human Resource Department of Lahanti Last Mile Services Pvt. Ltd., the business correspondent of ESAF Small Finance Bank in Thrissur.
However, her greatest battle began after the birth of her daughter, Yishitha Yaritza, in November 2017. Shortly after delivery, Nahida developed peripartum cardiomyopathy, a rare condition that weakens the heart muscles during or after childbirth. Her health deteriorated rapidly, leading to ICU admission and ventilator support for five days. Doctors informed her family that survival chances were minimal. Yet, against all odds, Nahida fought her way back to life.
Recovery was far from easy. She struggled physically and emotionally, facing severe postpartum depression, weakness, isolation, and loss of confidence. Even holding her baby became difficult. But with immense determination, faith, and self-discipline, she slowly rebuilt herself. Yoga, meditation, fitness, meal planning, and marathon training became part of her healing journey. In 2020, she successfully completed a marathon, marking a powerful comeback.
Her transformation reached a defining moment in December 2022 at the Mrs. India One in a Million held at Crowne Plaza, Gurgaon, where she won the title of “Kerala State Gold 2022.” Standing on the ramp among contestants from across the country, Nahida carried not just confidence, but the story of survival itself. In 2023, she was further crowned “Mrs. World Gorgeous Royal Global Queen” in Mumbai and also received the “Royal Achiever Award for Excellence” from actor Aftab Shivdasani for her achievements in business planning and development. Adding to her achievements, she has also received the role model for woman award from forever Stars of India 2024.
Beyond pageantry, Nahida is also a sports enthusiast and motivational figure. She has won state-level carrom competitions, participated in district-level Kabaddi events, completed marathons, and actively mentors students and women dealing with emotional struggles. She has appeared as a chief guest, fashion show judge, showstopper, and guest speaker at numerous colleges and fashion events across Kerala. She has also featured in advertisements, television programs, radio interviews, and a short film.
Nahida’s daughter, Yishitha Yaritza, studies at The International School of Thrissur and is already making achievements of her own in modeling, athletics, chess, basketball, and carrom. She has participated in several designer shows, won awards in athletics, , and earned recognition as “Queen of Thrissur 2025.” Recently, she was crowned Kerala Style Queen 2026 and distinguished as a Grand Finalist for the 2026 Style Icon of Kerala.
Nahida Mohamed strongly believes that women should become independent and learn to trust actions more than words. Having personally endured severe postpartum depression and life-threatening health complications, she encourages women to support and uplift others who are facing similar struggles. According to her, faith in God, self-belief, and determination play a vital role in overcoming life’s toughest challenges. She also advises people to seek guidance from experienced mentors, career counselors, and professionals who can offer meaningful direction and encouragement during difficult phases of life.
Nahida openly shares that her recovery journey was extremely painful and lonely. Despite limited support during her most challenging moments, she gradually rebuilt herself through inner strength, faith, and continuous self-effort while caring for her young daughter. She considers postpartum depression a deeply serious condition that requires emotional support, awareness, and compassion.
One of the greatest inspirations in Nahida’s life has been her grandmother, whose kindness, resilience, and generosity left a lasting impact on her. She admired her grandmother’s ability to remain positive despite hardships and her habit of giving more than she received. Nahida also credits her friends, colleagues, teachers, mentors, and well-wishers for supporting and motivating her during difficult times.
Deeply driven by compassion and purpose, Nahida now dreams of building a shelter home called “Heaven” within the next few years  not merely an old-age home, but a true home for orphaned children, elderly people, struggling women, and children in need of medical and emotional support. Through her work and success, she hopes to create a safe and loving space for those who feel abandoned or helpless, turning her personal pain into a mission of hope and humanity.
Best wishes from her side and she welcomes our viewers to join her page.
The team of Ms Venture appreciates her outstanding innovative ideas and wishes her all the best for her future endeavors.
