At just 23 years of age, she has established herself as an accomplished author, orator, researcher, and youth leader, demonstrating that age is no limitation to creating meaningful impact. Born to educators Mr. Ronald Fernandes and Mrs. Nancy Fernandes, Reshel’s journey is deeply rooted in the values of education, discipline, and service. Her academic record consistently reflects her commitment to excellence. She completed her schooling at DPS MRPL, Mangalore, followed by her Pre-University education at Ladyhill Victoria PU College, where she secured the State 7th Rank and District First Rank in the Arts stream. She further pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Hindi from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha and a Bachelor’s degree in History, Economics, and Political Science from Sri Mahaveera College, Moodbidri, graduating with the Second Rank in Mangalore University. She is currently in her final year of LL.B. at S.D.M. Law College, Mangalore, while also pursuing additional certifications in Disaster Management, Human Resource Management, and Public Health Management.

Reshel’s passion for literature has positioned her among India’s most promising young authors. By the age of 23, she had authored five books, each reflecting a nuanced understanding of society, governance, education, youth empowerment, and environmental awareness. Her literary journey began with Essays on Collective Topics, followed by the widely appreciated Bharat @2047: Role of Youth, a visionary work examining the role of India’s youth in shaping the nation’s future. This publication earned her the prestigious Author of New Era Award and the Rabindranath Tagore Book Award, making her one of the youngest authors to address such a nationally significant theme. Continuing her commitment to constructive discourse, she authored Light of Education Brightens World and Environment: Bond of Coexistence, both of which include insightful forewords from distinguished academicians. Her work Surajya: Good Governance – Wheel of Democracy, dedicated to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, further reflects her engagement with democratic values and responsible citizenship.

Beyond authorship, Reshel has established herself as a compelling voice in research and public speaking. She has presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences and has actively participated in Youth Parliament initiatives, contributing to discussions on governance, leadership, and nation-building.
