Vibhor Hasija

Vibhor Hasija The man with many talents
He is musician and a music entrepreneur.
He is also the owner of ‘Yours Eventfully’, a music oriented firm involved in artist management, wedding planning, open concerts and corporate events.
Vibhor started his firm with only one motto in his mind, and that was to provide budding musicians and artists with a stage to perform. He knew there were a lot of talented artists but they didn’t get opportunities to perform in front of the masses and that is why he started Yours Eventfully.
Vibhor was born and brought up in Delhi. He was always inclined to join the service industry as both his parents belonged to it but when he was introduced to music in his sixth standard, he completely changed his mind. He felt music gave him a purpose in life and the power to achieve everything which urged him to become a musician.

Following up, during his college days, he realized he was not satisfied when he used to come back home from his college and a nine to five job would never be his thing. With some of his friends and big dreams in his mind, Vibhor started a band and went on to pursue his career as a musician. Today, he is proud that he chose music as his career.
Initially, Vibhor didn’t know where he was going. He just wanted to perform in front of large audiences. It used to give him goosebumps to see the crowd respond to every song he used to perform on the stage. The very first band that he started and still belongs to is Tarkash. Vibhor plays the keyboard for the band and says it’s always a thrilling experience to be on the stage. With the phenomenal success of his band, there were other artists who started asking Vibhor for his guidance in the music industry. That was when the idea of Yours Eventfully came to his mind.
With the good contacts he had made in the industry over the years and ample of experience he had, he started helping other artists by providing them with a stage. Also, Vibhor believes he never used to get enough respect from his clients as a musician and they were always trying to exploit or take advantage of him but after opening his firm and meeting clients as a manager, he was respected in a way that he truly deserved
Vibhor says during the pandemic his business was hit hard as it totally depends on small and large gatherings of people. For his shows to happen, there must be an audience and the Covid period was devoid of that. The second wave was even worse as Vibhor was left with no resources at all. Still, he believes that the industry will soon prosper again and hopes things will get better.
Vibhor thinks that being a musician has always helped him in his career. Growing as a musician has helped him grow as an entrepreneur. Because he has a lot of knowledge about the music he performs, he understands what is the need of the hour and makes changes accordingly. He knows how to recreate and reinvent new things, and what will lead to the growth of an artist, which in turn has helped him to grow in his career. Vibhor believes that an artist can only connect with the audience if he has good content and is up-to-date with the latest trends in the community, so that is what he has always tried to emphasize upon.
Being the only one doing business in his house, Vibhor thinks taking big decisions was a tough part for him. He had to take major risks at a very young age. He did a huge concert in Dubai at the age of twenty five where there were huge investments involved and Vibhor had to put all the money he had earned in his career for the event.
He realised that he would have to take a loss even though the show went housefull. He learned that correct decisions played a substantial role and the momentum at which decisions are made is very important.
Vibhor’s role model in life is his father who always supported him, even when he chose a very unconventional career option. His family was always cooperative of his decisions and Vibhor feels it has helped him grow both personally and professionally. He also met a lot of people in the industry and during his life who inspired him a lot. He was always a self-centered person but he has learned a lot of values on his way and he is happy to be where he is today.
According to Vibhor, going back in time is a very good idea because it would help him go back to his school days when he started pursuing music. He would like to do his high school again and have a lot of fun.
Vibhor’s advice to young fellow musicians and music entrepreneurs is to practice music everyday because it is not something conventional like a nine to five job and what one does every single day will have a direct impact on one’s career. One will have to work really hard to succeed in this career. He feels that the Indian musicians are the most capable in music but they are too dependent on their peers and their managers which has led to a decline in their growth over the years. He would urge newcomers in this field to learn the art of negotiation, learn the art of making money and learn the art of moving to the next level from where they currently stand.
On a concluding note, he firmly believes one should evolve, grow, be disciplined, and do what makes them happy.
