As a college student studying in Ranchi, he came across the challenges faced by numerous students or working bachelors encountered in the city. They were unable to find flats and had to opt for PGs. He kept pondering about the situation and after months of research, he started My Urban Life.
He is the self-made marketing professional who’s assisted dozens of individuals and brands in their quest to achieve success.

Prakhar learnt how independent rental properties work and gained the confidence to start his housing assistance business.

Prakhar Minocha completed his schooling from Kapil Dev and did his graduation from BIT MESRA. He always identified business as his major area of interest. From news about startups to how the startups get built and function, his child-like curiosity has never settled. He always wanted to know more about them. This led him to start his Kulfi brand at the age of 16. And then his venture My Urban Life when he was in college. He also loves to socialize and network with people.
Prakhar is also a generous entrepreneur who loves to train others around him to bring them up to speed with the requirements. He trains his team on a one-to-one basis, showing everyone the significance of communication, leadership and teamwork. His motto in life is "to not just promise but show results”. Prakhar's main business principles are honesty and indigenous approach, which he uses to set realistic goals for himself and cater to his clients.
He advises upcoming entrepreneurs, especially start-up owners, to avoid falling into the trap of over-promising and under-delivering, which leads to disillusionment very soon.

In order to create a niche for yourself in your respective industry, you need to realise your limitations and start working inwards from there, says Prakhar.
He also suggests that the businesses to be genuine and honest with what they are instead of falling for the over-promising and under-delivering, they must set realistic goals for themselves and cater to their target audiences with the points mentioned above to create their unique niche in their respective industries.
