Shweta Patel Madhumatke

Meet Shweta Patel Madhumatke, a Licensed Zumba Instructor, Entrepreneur, Choreographer, and Director at Fusion Dance and Zumba Studio.

She has also earned her Nritya Visharad degree, showcasing her dedication and excellence in the field of Kathak dance form.

During her interview with Ms Venture, Shweta shares a glimpse of her journey, she says “I have a background in Engineering, specialising in Electronics and Telecommunications. However, my true passion lies in dance. I live in Nagpur. Pursuing this passion, I have established a dance studio exclusively for girls and ladies, where I offer a variety of classes, including Zumba, general dance classes, and wedding choreography. Being a fitness instructor and choreographer comes with its unique set of challenges. These include finding and retaining clients, managing finances, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Fortunately, my husband provides tremendous support, helping me navigate these challenges effectively.

My students describe my one-hour classes as fun, stress-free, holistic, socially supportive, and involving natural movement. These qualities are what attract them to choose me as their instructor.”

Shweta’s heartfelt advice for todays’ youngsters, “ Zumba is all about having a good time while working out. Don’t be afraid to let loose and enjoy the music and movements. The more you have fun, the more you’ll benefit from the class. It is a great way to meet new people and make friends. Be open to connecting with your classmates and building a supportive community. Whether it’s mastering a new routine, improving your fitness level, or just having fun, set personal goals to keep yourself motivated and focused.”

She has gradually established a name for herself in her field, achieving thriving success due to her immense talent. Passionate about the creative process, she eagerly anticipates collaborating with clients. Her excellent organisational skills, along with her ability to be encouraging, empathetic, and firm, have contributed to her success.
