Rosie Bons

Meet Rosie Bons, an Entrepreneur, social Activist, and Director & Founder of NIIFD (National Institute of Interior and Fashion Designing).
During her interview with Ms Venture, Rosie gave a glimpse about her background, “My dad served in the Air Force, but I was more focused on business. I've always been an extrovert with a strong interest in connecting with people and pursuing a career in the creative industry. Coming from a North Indian Punjabi family, it was challenging for me to follow a path so different from my family's traditional background. I always believed we should do what we like. I pursued business studies.
As of now, I am doing designing courses and related work in India. But in the near future, I am looking forward to expanding it globally so that international fashion students can also join. I will be launching it in countries where Indian fashion, embroideries and heritage are appreciated.” She also shares about her inspiration- “I perceive working women as my role models because they show that you can succeed both professionally and personally, challenging old gender roles. They break stereotypes by succeeding in various fields, support gender equality, and motivate younger people to aim high. Their experience in balancing work and personal life provides useful lessons, and their work helps make workplaces more diverse and innovative. By mentoring others and achieving success, they prove that leadership and accomplishment are possible for anyone, changing societal expectations and promoting a fairer, more inclusive work environment.”
What are the challenges and how were you able to cope with it ?
Initially, I worked for another company.
It was challenging for me to maintain balance between my personal life, professional life and my own personal space. Then, I started my own company where I can manage things according to my will so that I don't have to compromise with my personal life and career.
Self-motivation and manifestation work together makes me self-driven by aligning your mindset and actions with your goals. Self-motivation gives you the inner drive to take consistent action, while manifestation strengthens your belief that your desires are attainable. By focusing on positive outcomes and visualising success, you attract opportunities and maintain a proactive approach. This combination builds confidence, resilience, and determination, making you less reliant on external encouragement and more in control of your path to success.
Her heartfelt advice to today's youngsters- “Treat your employees and colleagues as a team. When employees and colleagues are treated as part of a cohesive team, it enhances their engagement, boosts morale, and leads to more effective problem-solving and innovation. This collaborative mindset not only improves productivity but also builds a positive workplace culture where everyone feels empowered and committed to the organisation's success.”
She became successful not only because of her hard work but also, because of her soft-heartedness towards others. Her kind heart and good deeds has helped many youngsters get motivated with her. She has motivated a number of people with her work. Her determination, dedication and constant thrust for achieving something the highest in life became the reasons for her successful life. She struggled with a lot of things before getting to where she is today.
We salute to her for becoming a role model for all the passionate women out there.
Best wishes from her side and she welcomes her clients to join her page.
The team of Ms venture wishes her best of luck for her future endeavours.
